How does Medik8 Advanced Day Ultimate Protect work?

Our highest SPF product in the Medik8 line, with the highest level of PA+ protection against UVA rays – PA++++. We use a complex of first-class, modern sun filters that have been carefully selected for their light sensitivity, good effect on the skin and skin-friendly benefits.

Advanced Day Ultimate Protect sun protection is strengthened by DNA repair enzymes. Exposure to UV rays can lead to damage to the DNA, with all the consequences that this entails for natural processes such as the defense mechanism based on free radicals and collagen production. Photolyase, a light-activated enzyme, supports the skin's natural repair mechanisms to prevent the future formation of visible fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation due to UV exposure. The photolyase is encapsulated to optimize skin penetration, delivering next-generation anti-aging results, including healthier-looking and more resilient skin with a natural glow.

UV rays aren't the only thing we need to protect our skin against; We are also exposed to a number of other daily factors throughout the year that can cause premature aging.

Usage

• As the final step in your skin care routine, apply a generous amount (¼ teaspoon) of Advanced Day Ultimate Protect to the face. Add more for the neck and décolleté, but avoid the skin around the eyes.
• Use light, upward movements and allow to absorb.
• Reapply as needed during the day, and every 2 hours in direct sunlight.
• Perfect for layering over your favorite Medik8 vitamin C serum.
