Northern Alaska is a unique area where wild Arctic salmon are found in large numbers. The fillets go to specialty shops and top restaurants. Omegaflow has been selected as one of the few European companies to be able to offer the valuable oil from the fillet trimmings. So no fish is caught especially for the oil† In this way, the fish population of this special fish remains intact forever.
What is so special about wild salmon?
- The wild Arctic salmon contains no less than 3 times as much Omega-3 as a farmed salmon:
- Wild Arctic salmon has a 10 times better ratio between the Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids.
- Unlike a tuna, a salmon only lives for 2 years, so there is no time to store many harmful substances. This makes wild salmon one of the cleanest fish. We see this very well when the oil is cleaned, there is not much to purify.
- Where standard fish oil or algae oil often only contain EPA and DHA, wild salmon has a very wide range of fats. Many different types of Omega-3 fatty acids (although in smaller amounts than EPA and DHA) and also some Omega-7 and Omega-9 fatty acids.
- Due to the salmon's rapid processing in cold Alaska, the oil does not have time to oxidize. This makes the oxidation value very good: Totox value between ~5. The result is a soft taste without the fishy smell.
- The wild salmon fishery is strictly managed according to the MSC ecolabel to ensure that the fish population remains at a good level.

Recommended use per day: 10 ml during or after a meal. Do not exceed dose. Suitable for children from 12 years. You calculate the personal intake with this formula: 0.15 ml oil x kg body weight.
