What is Medik8 Retinol Eye TR
Medik8 Retinol Eye TR (10 ml) is a professional night serum for under the eyes that enhances firmness and reduces the size and depth of wrinkles and lines under the eyes and reduces crow's feet.
Medik8's Retinol Eye TR is a specially formulated Retinol serum for use in the delicate under-eye area. Containing a highly stable and encapsulated all-trans retinol at a concentration of 0,1%, Medik8 Retinol Eye TR melts into the skin and gives a non-greasy, dry powder finish. It does not irritate like regular retinol products due to the unique time-release (TR) formula.
Medik8 Retinol products use a new Time-Release system to reduce the level of arousal, as this is very commonly reported by users of the standard retinol products. It works by releasing active molecules over time rather than one big "hit" all at once. The skin gets the same dose of retinol per application, but spreads over hours, not minutes. How do I use Medik8 Retinol Eye TR
- Retinol should not be used in direct sunlight. When using Retinol Eye TR in daylight, make sure an SPF hydrator is applied after each use.
- Build up retinol use by using the product every three days for a minimum of 2 weeks so that the skin accepts the use of retinol.
– Apply every 2* days for the first 3 weeks.

This is the minimum recommended time to apply Retinol Eye TR. As with any Retinol product, you should only decrease the time between applications once your skin has adjusted to the previous dose - Consult your physician before embarking on a retinol program, if you are pregnant, nursing, undergoing skin peeling procedures, or taking prescription medications for acne.
- In the evening, use the integrated dropper to apply Retinol Eye TR directly to the area under your eye. Alternatively, apply a drop to your finger and then blend into the skin. Use your hydrator as usual after each application. When using Retinol Eye TR in daylight, make sure an SPF hydrator is applied after each use.
- Avoid contact with the inner eye area, if irritation occurs, rinse thoroughly with water and contact a professional skin care professional or your doctor immediately. Wash your hands thoroughly after use.
