The basic idea of Mesotherapy is that active ingredients are introduced under the skin at the place where a problem (skin improvement) is located. This allows an effective penetration of active ingredients that is almost completely painless. But Mesotherapy is also a popular facial treatment as a skin rejuvenating (anti-aging) method. The ingredients largely consist of a sophisticated mix of vitamins, antioxidants, amino acids and minerals. Mesotherapy facial treatment is a very effective anti-aging method.
How does mesotherapy work?
The main goal of Mesotherapy is to transport active ingredients under the skin and within the cells. The skin forms a natural barrier that is water-repellent. However, via the pores and hair root canals, active ingredients can penetrate into the deeper skin layers via the epidermis. This process is simplified and reinforced by electroporation and electrophoresis, so that the active ingredients are as it were sucked through the skin. At the same time, electrophoration will open the skin cells allowing the Mesotherapy ingredients to penetrate directly into the cell nuclei.
